Two sites with swords:

http://albionarmorers.com/ - a lot of authentic blades crafted today, and a section of sword patterned after those in movies as well at their sister site, http://filmswords.com/

http://www.therionarms.com/reenact/index.shtml is another site, with a lot of shots of armor as well.

Meanwhile, for guns and more modern firearms: http://www.world.guns.ru/main-e.htm

not really a website but a great book is the weapons encyclopedia by the diagram group. alot of straight forward b&w drawings, and it spans from the early ages to now. i get alot of use from it.

Postby aggy b. » Thu Jul 22, 2004 4:35 pm

an alphabetical list of guns (from hand guns to machine guns to rifles, etc) with links to a picture of each.

http://securityarms.com/20010315/all.htm

helpful if you're looking for a reference for a particular type of gun or just browsing.
