Atrocity exhibition? Nope, bad comics.

I just found this board and I can't remember how. Anyway, I've never posted here, but there was so much good stuff on this board that I had to show how damn inferior I felt by comparison. This is a page is from a full color comic I am doing. I'm making it for print (for who? for what? I dunno). Any criticism from such talented people as yourselves would be welcome. The dialogue has not been added yet, but will be eventually.

Haha, wow.. Your pictures tell great stories. Too bad you have to add the dialogue though.

No critiques, but If i have to say something. I'd say the one that bothered me the most is the top left frame. Since it was dark and didn't along with the lighter colours, it didn't really draw my attention there.

But that's just what "I" think.

Nevertheless iit looks great! Good job!

Thank you for all the compliments. As far as the upper left hand panel, its different because of the storytelling. He's up on a shelf in a little boy's room and then the history of how the character came to be is told, so the art and color style changes. I'll post another page later and you can see how the art generally looks, but it changes periodically to fit the mood or atmosphere of the story. Plus, I get bored doing the same style and using the same programs all the time.

Some really nice stuff. I like the contour line less off the first page more than the second page. But again, they're both really good.

Excellent stuff, both pages. Very nice. I'd suggest placing smaller versions online though, it can be a pain to scroll through an image and not see the whole thing all at once (unless that's a specific thing you were going for in a particular piece, as some creative web artists have done). For pages like this, though, it would be better to have the whole page fit on a single screen with no scrolling.
