Where are the Life drawing studios in Toronto????

A friend of mine is moving to Toronto and wanted to know where the life drawing studios are? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I know theres a few places your friend can go. He can try calling Max the Mutt Animation School. They have life drawing on Saturdays. There are a few other places but I will have to check the names for you. When your friend is here, I suggest he goes to art stores like Curry's and Loomis and Toles. They usually have fliers by the doors. I'll do some digging for you anyways.

I dont live in Toronto now but did for about 17 years ... check out Ontario College of Art and Design. If that is its name ... you can also try several of the Art and Design schools like at Ryerson, York Univ and Univ of Toronto. There are also several adult education programs in the city too which may be useful.

I live in Toronto. All the above places are good.

There is a group associated with a networking night called Speakeasy that occasionally book a studio, get a model and take some time to draw. Last time I went it was a nice intimate kinda setup. I have been looking for a buddy to go with me forever, but all my artist friends here have been less than forthcoming, so if your friend is interested I would love to meet them and maybe work something out.

Need to get to more life drawing classes.
