I was reminded of the Jenny saville while looking at the "bring on the big girls" thread up in girls . Have you guys ever heard of her. She is simply Amazing. I saw the sensation exhibit a few years back in new york and was blown away by her (and ron mueck). then I got lucky enough to be walking through soho a few days later and saw a gallery show of her new work. by the way these pieces are giant. Love to hear you guys feedback.

I really like Saville's work too. Her composition and technique are what strike me most. I find similarities in her work to the work of Lucien Freud and Euan Uglow, who I think are both tremendous artists as well.

For a point of reference I've included work by Saville, Uglow, and Freud below:

'Suspension' by Saville

'Curled Nude on a Stool' by Uglow

'Blond Girl on a Bed' by Freud
