I just bought both the EP and the full-length album, and they've blown me away completely. I can't stop listening to Young Liars.

Highly highly recommended.

isaw this post like 2 days ago, and then went to aron's records yesterday because it's been awahile...they had like 1/2 a page staples to the wall gushing about how amazing this band is...so I picked up the cd. BRILLIANT!!! I've only listened to 7 songs so far, because I got other stuff I had to check out...but this is some pretty innovative, amazing music. Nothing that could be expected. I'm not even sure how t describe them. Just good. My girlfriend was very pleased to find that it wasn't "screaming muisc" when I put it on in the car...i'v been listening to a lot of that lately

don't get mw wrong, i love the band. but don't you think they sound a little like peter gabriel? Shock the monkey era?

Anyways, saw them a few months ago in montreal when they opened for the yeah yeah yeahs. Blew the main act off the stage. great band

Hell yeah.....I am as giddy as a little school girl. I kept hearing Staring at the Sun, but I could never catch who it was and then stumbled accross the fact that it was TV on the Radio.
How can you not love this?
I agree totaly with the Peter Gabriel reference Staring at the Sun sounds like Pete singing Tainted Love. And how cool is the dude that looks like a tricked out Bobby McFarrin.
Selfishly, I want them to do well but not get popular. If that can happen.

I really like "Satellite" off the Young Liars EP, but everything else is kind of blah. They're pretty sloppy on their live show. I can't say that I fully understand the hype.

i got turned onto them through my good friend who HATED them so intensely i had to hear it.
and low and beholld i quite liked it.....

although TV on the Radio is pretty good..i will say they each song is so obviously drawn from a diffrnt source....

ie. Brian Eno - "Here Come The Warm Jets".
if you've never heard this album it's a must.

and sure go back an listen to your gabriel and bowie records too i guess.

dreams has a very bowie appeal to it...but hey its better than them sounding like crappy bands.

music would be so much better if they were taking from artists such as bowie, eno, and gabrial...i wanna hear someone do some oingo boingo type stuff too :)

I often hear Drugmassacre say out loud, "Here come the warm jets!" I don't know what it means, but I don't stick around to find out.
