Point taken. However, I'm talking about right now. You know, when this website was created? Because this website is not encouraging kids to grow up and conquer "barbarians" in the name of God. It's encouraging them to pray for Colin Powell. If I were EVER to pray for anybody, why would I pray for the guy NOT fighting the war, but the guy with the cushy job who couldn't get nailed with a spitwad if he tried?<br><br>And sorry, dude. But no matter what the so-called church of Satan teaches, there are lots of documented cases of confessed followers who've twisted the teachings and have gone on to kill people in Satan's name. I even have a book on the subject. And that's more recent than Spanish colonialism.<br><br>Believing in a "non-existent" God is just as good/bad/however-you-look-at-it as believing in a non-existent Satan. Are the people who believe in Satan also "half-wits"?<br><br>I was just reading through the Church of Satan's website and it's abundantly clear that they only use Satan to piss people off. Because the way they describe their beliefs could be assigned to any deity. Hell, they could make one up. But Satanism is, of course, the polar opposite of Christianity and therefore the whole thing is contrived to provoke. And they're provoking me, all right. HellboyOne, your replies are informative and well written, and yes i would consider anyone who beleives in satan also a halfwit, as i dont beleive there is any god or satan or buddah or alah or any of them. Yes some of those satanic fanatics twist the "faith" and kill people but honestly is that any worse than as i previously mentioned the amount of deaths caused by other religeons.
