I wanted to remind people who might be in the Minneapolis area that the TELSTAR TRAVELLING ART SHOW will be landing in their fair city on 7.5.03 at Big Brain Comics. You can check out the press release below.<br><br>Project: Telstar dropped to comic shops on 6.25.03. If your shop did not have any, you can always ask them to order you one. The starcode is: STAR18892 F. It might be best to order these sooner than later, as the possibility of these books being reprinted is pretty low. <br><br>++++++++++++<br><br>AdHouse Books is pleased to announce the following event!<br><br>The Project: Telstar Travelling Art Show<br><br>A compendium of paintings, serigraphs and original pen and ink art objects that were either used in or inspired by the creator's story for the book Project: Telstar.<br><br>Project: Telstar is a 192 page anthology with over 20 creators devoted to telling the tales of space and robots. The stories range from four pages to twenty-three!<br><br>The travelling art show will contain various art objects for purchase, like: <br>- Dave Cooper original pen & ink!<br>- Joel Priddy original pen & ink and paintings!<br>- King Mini original alien paintings!<br><br>Also, to commemorate the show, a limited edition serigraph will be created by Jay Ryan of The Bird Machine. <br><br>The three city tour will cross the United States. Each city will have an opening party where at least one Telstar creator will be in attendance. This book came out beautifully. From cover to cover- the best designed book I've seen in years. Especially for a 2 color. Fantasic attention to details. I really can't say enough good things about this book. West Can did a great job printing as well.<br><br>As far as I remember the only time I've seen a colophon in a comic or graphic novel. Cool. <p></p><i></i>

So, let's shoot for 2004 on that one.<br><br>Speaking of anthos and shows, the 2003 SPX anthology should be debuting at San Diego, if anyone is interested. <p></p><i></i>
