First comic I've bought in a long time. Really enjoyed it. Not to be ignorant but did Milligan write Johnny Nemo? That was one of my all time favorites...

Yeah, Johnny Nemo was Milligan and Brett Ewins (and occasionally Steve Dillon).

Recently reprinted by Cyberosia, I think...
-C

www.cameron-stewart.com

Hahahah......I just gave my girlfriend this comic to read this evening (she loved Selina's Big Score).
The first thing she said is, "Hey, Wolverine teamed up with Slimer!"

Logan's outfit is keen.....I dig the coat and collar with the cool daddio hair....
JOELCARROLL.COM

Man !!
I loved this book so much,I must have flipped through it like 20 times,I think artistically Darwyn is gonna really stir things up in comics (I'm already seeing copys,me included, Ha ). I'm so impressed with the all around quality of this and several other books marvel is publishing right now (if your not reading daredevil please go buy every bendis/maleev issue ).Its also really great to see from the all the comments on this post that some people on this board still have some taste (minus that jimmywicked guy I think he's busy reading some 'liefeld' comics,Ha #2). But hey, Milligan/Cooke/Bone you guys rock !!!
thank you so much !!!

'comics are once again HIP ! thank baby jesus!'

I like that basic style.
Tryin' to sell my artwork to pay for a Hummer and Benz. I can draw now so people wanna be my fiends. Like Daredevil, a man without fear. When you see my artwork ya' betta cheer. You can't stop me nature, from snow to showers. I'm like He-Man, "I still have tha powa!" Your artwork is like Ny-Qil mixed with alcohol, it puts people to sleep. Got a harem of women , do need to cheat. People believe that I can't do it. I tell em shut up and watch the P..P..P..P..P..PUSHA V UNIT!!
(Don't be stupid and try to cook some kool-ade!)

Got the comic and quick skimmed it (looked great) but will wait till I have the second part of the story to take time to read through and appreciate properly.

Any chance of you two working on Angel and the Ape for DC? I liked Philip Bond's art on the recent mini but not the story by Howard Chaykin and David Tischman. You two would be great (Canada's Ty Templeton too) for a regular DC (not Vertigo) A&A.

Me be same Donster that used to be on DC boards.

Wow...thanks to everyone who's enjoyed this so far.

I'm especially gratified with the positive response to the Wolverine design. I'm fairly sure that certain higher-ups at the house of ideas didn't share your enthusiasm. But Axel stuck by me on this one and I'm really happy with it. I couldn't have done the Quietly-style Logan.....just to Village People/Freddy Mercury for me.

Yes, Slimer and Elvis (circa 69) were big inspirations. I confess.

Love Angel and the Ape. Love Milligan. Who knows? Maybe one day.

And I believe the second part comes out next Wednesday.
For my money, it looks even better.

Thanks again,
Dar

I think maybe others shared your opinion of Quitely's Logan... he's been wearing more clothes lately, after that first story arc. Hair's changed quite a bit in recent issues, too, more like yours, w/ a little bit of chin fur.

Can't wait till next week!
Keith

Wolverine/Doop #2 came out in shops today. Will get around to reading the two parts soon. Other highlights of this week's releases are Case Files: Sam and Twitch with art by Scott Morse, Kyle Baker's Undercover Genie book and Bob Fingerman's story in Hellboy Weird Tales #3.
