Jondan and Maester- Great work!

I've stickied this thread to make it into a jam.

Here's mine-

Edit- Made some tweaks to the likeness.

Jondan : it seems that Leslie Nielsen had blue eyes... Nice work anyway.

Happy to see a new caricature jam, people should die more often (oops)...

After seeing Krisvahl's drawing (yargl), I must admit my nose was not that good (well, MY nose is good enough, but Leslie's nose on my sketch was not long enough).

So, here is a second try :

thanks for the hint on the blue eyes, Ma?ster. i kept wondering about the eye color while looking at my reference pic. seems like the quality was too low to find out the coorect color. anyway, i corrected it. thanks again.

Nice one , Nate! You've captured his likeness with a minimum of lines.

Maester- That new one with the siren on his head is really, really funny! It sums up his personality and sense of humour perfectly.

Nice one, vtslim! I think we must have used the same reference.

Leslie Nielsen is also this week's topic over on Facebook's Caricaturama Challenge 3000 group. Anyone who's not a part of it should join and submit their work.

Oh Kris...you really nailed this one, as you always do. I haven't done a real caricature for a while and was too timid on this one in retrospect. There are a few artists I keep on "speed dial" just to keep me inspired and to piss me off a little and you are right at the top.

Slim- Thanks man. You can sleep well in knowing that my Leslie Nielsen caricature didn't come easy. It was tough!

I invite (all of) you to go and visit Thierry Coquelet's site to see his attempt :

maced- sorry.. I don't really see a likeness at all. It just looks like a regular (unknown) old white guy. Its not badly painted.. just the features aren't really reading as being him.
