My entrty isnt even close to the quality of some entries here, but I still wanted to give it a try in my style, so I did one based of one of my favorite Brave And the Bold episodes

I feel lame posting a quick doodle amidst all this great art. If I get a chance I'd like to do something new for the thread.
In the meantime, here's a Holmes rough I did a year ago, when I was developing a webcomic adaptation of Hound of the Baskervilles which never took off.

It has been a bit already? ;)
As promised, here are my comments:

em...: Outstanding rendition, my brother, you really need to start to make some money
out of these works :)
mcsween: I remember that, Mike, still looking pretty great to me :)
Jarhead1: your characters/drawings always have a great personality and these are no
exception, Gannon :D
daniel cox: and speaking of personality, great portrait from you, Daniel :D I dig the
unconventional facial hair :)
oakhorse: looking at your avatar and your sherlock holmes side by side, Troy, it almost
looks like you draw yourself as the Great Detective :) DIgging the serene and confident
vibe of your Holmes :)
beesqp: classic shot of the Detective at work :)
Loading: Love it, Lee :D I wanna see a full book illustrated like this. And that tiny hat... HA! :D
daniel cox: that's a great concept, Daniel :D I hope you have some spare time to bring it
to the next level and finish it :)
SteveG: one of my fav drawing from you ever, STeve :D Actually if you still have it around... ;)
Ritalin007: great characterization of the investigative duo :D
artofant: really cool take on Moriarty, Anthony, and that bit of page makes me want to
read the whole story :D
SilentSTranger: that's a pretty cool rendering of 2 of my fav characters :D
Steve-O: really nice pencil sketch: I think you should finish it :)

Thank you so much, Vlad, Lee, and Troy: so happy to hear you guys liked my take on
SH. Here's the original pencil sketch for ya :)

Cheers,
Francesco

Why did I ever leave this board... it is such warm feeling to see some familiar faces still doing amazing work here. And so many great renditions of one of my all-time favorite characters. Perhaps a lunchtime sketch is in order. THE GAME IS AFOOT!

Yeah it's a reach, but it was the first I can recall being exposed to the character.

Besides it was either this or Data and LaForge in costume. :P

Moonman: I wasn't too far away from doing that myself!

Well, I couldn't do Holmes without Watson, not a good as design as Holmea I don't think, or colouring...nevermind :D

I decided to do my characters from Time Gone Vaughn as Holmes and Watson.

"Elementary, Dear Spoonmonkey."

Yet another promising thread killed dead by IMForeman. Surely it has more Holmes to give!

C'mon, Michael, you didn't kill any thread: this jam was slow the whole month. Barely 3
pages long for a full month?
Will be back with comments as soon I wrap up this ish of Zorro :)

Cheers,
Francesco

I honestly thought Holmes would be more popular. C'mon, who doesn't love Sherlock?
