Wow Rod, that Shaman is just brilliant... amazing Scarlet Witch, too. Nice job.

Wish I had your magic drawing powers...

The Baba Yaga on the way to her annual finger count perhaps...

Just a sketch, but I think I will work more on it if I can find the time.

Edit: added some ink.. will tinker more...
Edit2: added shades and background...

Some really nice practitioners of the mystic arts here. I love Rod's Magik quickie and Em nailed the Wicked Witch pretty good.

Here's a digital sketch I did of Ruby from the Rosario + Vampire graphic novels. I hope to work on it some more in the future when time permits.

Moonman: love the pose on the Orpheus and the glance of Merlin :)
bluemetal: really nice lines there :)
Juan Bon Jovi: HA! the momories :) SO this is how she is called here? In Italy we
called her Amalia :)
Silly Nate: HA! Loving the "first years" take on this duo :D
extremophile: very cool dr strange! :)
Dan Seven: that's a very hot witch :D and the russian one is so stylish :)
daniel cox: wonderfully spooky Darth Plagueis, Daniel :D You're good :)
Roblin: cool Baba Yaga, and nice mignola feel to it :)
ZhaxRa: nice Ruby :) Not sure what she is holding with the left hand though...
and now to the star of this thread:
RodGuen: WOW WOW WOW, mon ami, you are on fire: I am really digging the
energy, action, life that comes out from your contributions here. I so wish you were
drawing a regular series, so I can enjoy your work on a monthly basis :D

And here's something from me, freshly done (yesterday). There will be more for sure
before the month is over :)

Cheers,
Francesco

Thank you Francesco! That means a lot coming from you... and your picture man! I mean Holy S**t, that will give me nightmares... not sure what that is, but it sure has a very creepy feel to it.

I didn't get around to doing one last month, so for this one, I did three. I know Ghost Rider and Blackheart may be debatable, but some could consider them to be magic-based.

There's so much great stuff on this thread I felt inspired to post.....I know it's been awhile since I posted last and I'll try to do better -- I promise. But in the meantime here's a commission I finished just a short while ago that fits this subject...a little Wanda from XME...ala Mucha
