Did a picture of Thor. I love what Coipel did with the redesign, so he definitely had an influence on the look. Just inks for now. I'll color it when I've got some time.

This is the splash page for Enigmanaut. As you may have noticed, I've been working on developing this for a very, very long time. I've finally gotten to the point where I think I can start it. Now, this is shown without text, because the script hasn't been finalized and I haven't figured out what fonts I want to use just yet. But, the image itself is done, and I thought I'd post it.

I've revised the image a bit, added more defined attacking fighters, a bit more damage to the large ship being attacked and brightened the ion engines on the troop transport in the foreground.

Like the new font and the overall finished product, but I'd add just a touch of flare at the impact points of the laser strikes.

I agree there could be a bit more of an impact where the lasers hit but this is looking good

Really nice composotion that lends drama to the piece. I'd agree with the comments about the laser impacts, which I think could use a bit more "umph" in general.

Thanks for all the great feedback. I really appreciate it. I think I underdid the strikes because I wanted to show how distant the foreground ships are from the ship they are attacking, which is much more massive than they are.

I see what you're saying. Well, I curved it away from her face so it less soulpatchy... oh, and I did something else I forgot to do the first time: Cool down the warm colors. She's in a coat on a cold April night, and I left it with warm colors.
