Bat Vs Poison

Couple of dudes I drew and colored in photoshop for fun. These guys are the creation of an awesome up and coming artist named Jeffrey" Chamba" Cruz.

that guy's hair is classic! The drawing/rendering of the car is amazing
the top guy looks pretty feminine, most likely because of the coloration of the lips

That's because it's a woman.

Some folks are less literal in their usage of "dude" than others. :P One of my girl-friends uses "dude" whilst addressing her sandwiches.

And, yes, I know talking to one's food isn't exactly something to inspire confidence in one's general intelligence, but still... Just goes to show.

Anyway, kizer, I'm so jealous! That car is wonderful!

I've never really did one of these things so I thought I'd show you guys my version of Petey and Spidey. I'm a big fan of the Super Dorko Peter Parker from the early 60's more then the modern cool ass Petey of today. To me the Geek Pete was the ultimate mask. No one ever suspects a friendless braniac loser with a hunch to be the super strong, wall crawling, web swinging hero. I wanted to elongate his porportion and give him very lanky figure. This look to me sort of makes him look more "SPIDER" like when he pops on the suit. Anyways...Tell me what ya think of my version fellow devs.

Tools> pencil, photshop, optical mouse

That's about as good as it gets. You took Petey's soul and put it on paper! Love it!

The hard thing about drawing geeks today is that the cool kids dress like them too, scruffy hair and all. So clothing and accessories alone isn't enough to separate them. I think that's what I don't like about your take on Peter Parker. Plus he has an air of confidence: from the smile to the posing. While he's not standing erect, his back doesn't have that "Low self esteem hunch" which tends to happen in the upper back and shoulders.

It's a great drawing, and I love the idea of returning Pete to his geek roots. But this drawing is more "geek chic." However that's just my $0.02.
