Thanks guys! Here is what I did for today's Sketchjam, it's a work in progress obviously and the 2 panels are not sequential.

I really enjoy your art. Feels like an odd mix-up of Kirby, Eisner and Mignola at times.

Thanks, that may be one of the best compliments I've ever heard! I'll resume new posts tomorrow.

Pretty darn good array of sketches, Ryan: I especially like the yoyjimbo and Batman on
the previous page :D
Please say hi for me to Adam next time you talk to him :)

Cheers,

That Wolverine's bloody brilliant. I'd love to see you get a shot at his title someday.

Thanks Em, I doubt that will ever happen, but it's nice of you to say man.

I digitally inked this bit of Alan Davis and added some colors with a custom PS brush. It was fun if not a great inking job.

Nice Wolverine, man! That digital inking must take a while to get used to!

I think you've lost Alan Davis's style from the inked piece, but it still looks good (and I'm a big Alan Davis fan).[/i]

Yeah, I'm a huge fan too. I always have difficulty inking more intricate stuff, and doing it digitally was even more of a challenge. It's definitely more me than him at this stage, and unless you are Nowlan, that's never a good thing.

Thanks Rory and DG for the comments. Here is a couple character designs for a project that never happened, sometime around 2006.
