Oh Godofredox gets my vote hands down! The rest are great, but this ones really cool!

Wow! There are some very impressive Wolvie's so far. More than I have time to give
individual comments to at the moment, but a great job is being done by all!
Here are a couple of sketches I did today and slapped some color on...I didn't want to pass
up the chance to join the fun.

Whoa...I don't see a bad one in the bunch. Really a phenomenal bunch of drawings...I really like all the different takes on ol' Wolvy. Especially how many of you are going after that squat barbarian look.

I apologize em...I hadn't realized I'd already posted these (much less 99 times previously;)) Must be my senility kicking in.
Well, here's one that'a relatively new, bub....

Very fun thread! Thanks for the comments. Loving everyones treatments so far. Jams are fun!

I did a few more sketches today during breaks with an ink pen this time, here they are, some different styles.

Great posts so far. Here's a quick one. I couldn't resist. :) I don't know. I don't think I did him justice. I don't feel he's really Wolverine without his claws. I'm so retarded when it comes to superheroes.

Oh and Rod, I'm flattered you think yours is inspired by one I did before, but I don't think so. It wouldn't look this good.

Great work everyone (I will come back and comment soon, you know I will ;)).
Here's a relatively quick one toget in the jam: I should have forced the perspective on
the bike a lil more but oh well, here it goes
Hope you like it :)

Francesco

P.S. For those who don't know (and from some comments there must be a at least a
couple), SteveG (Steve Gordon) is the designer of X-Men Evo so his
Wolverine is not drawn in the X-Evo style but in his own style ;)

Hi,

I plan to do something sometime...but when I saw theronin's post I had to comment.

P.S. For those who don't know (and from some comments there must be a at least a
couple), SteveG (Steve Gordon) is the designer of X-Men Evo so his
Wolverine is not drawn in the X-Evo style but in his own style

This gave me a chuckle when I read it. No doubt I would've made the same mistake if I hadn't seen theRonin's comment.

Gah, wish I had time to comment on everyone. I'll be back and do it! For now I'll just say there are great stuff in this thread...every single one is terrific. But BWAHAHAHA! Here I am to spoil such absolute perfection with my drawing!

There. Now the thread is not flawless.

Thanks to those who commented on mine, and those who didn't but thought about it

.::OkieDokieArtichokie::. - Don't be so hard on yourself. You've done a fantastic job here on the pose and the perspective. My main crit would be the lack of line around his right hand - it almost makes it appear that his left foot is his pinky finger; RodGuen - Marvelous cartoony Logans. I'm really digging his very thick neck (it almost gives him a bull-like appearance); Awadof Dork - Your Wolverine has a great world weary "seen everything" jaded kind of outlook; Frogze - A couple of cracking interpretations of Logan at rest and in action, both spot on in character; [Marcelo Di Chiara - Your AoA Wolverine is fantastic. Love the heavy brows and pursed mouth; Godofredox - A very different and youthful interpretation. He has a quite serene and contemplative look; Snide - A terrific moody portrait, full of character; StudioBueno - Awesome sketches, Andrew. I'm especially fond of the crazed eyes in the first; Steve G - You know I was just kidding with you the first time, right Steve? Love the bold, energetic lines of the newest one - they give it a slight Romita Jr feel; dicreilly - Great "ready for action" pose (although the left hand contradicts with my personal theory on how his claws work) and an excellent subdued colour scheme; Kreed - Cracking bunch of sketches. The bottom right "yelling" one is tops in my opinion; Denis - Brilliant take on the canucklehead. Something about it makes me think of Japanese woodcuts; TheRonin - Even though he's not moving and we can't see his face, there's still an air of menace to your Logan, and we can tell instantly that he's pissed; Armando - Wonderful cartoon take. I think I prefer the head shot to the full body because of the nonchalant expression on his face.

If this seems familiar to anyone, it's because I based it on a pencil sketch that I posted about a year and a half ago. I decided to paint it up:

So many great Wolvies!

I was drawing a Weapon X, but it kind of came out as soft core porn. Cropped for your protection.
