I hope to finish this, but if I don't I figure I'd post at least the sketch before the jam is over (and maybe the final WITH colors when it is done)

Ooh, some wicked stuff here. I really love the work of Em, Marcelo, and V.M. but I like almost everything you guys have done.

Mike got me thinking about the Amalgam Universe... I've never read an issue and I don't really know the characters but I did some research. Here's Bizarnage (Carnage + Bizarro), Doctor Doomsday (a wicked good pun), and The Hyena (Joker+Sabretooth).

By the way... how cool is it that we have the guy who designed Spider-Boy doing a new sketch of Spider-Boy?

Here's a better sketch of Speed-Demon and the colors I would use on him.

Here's a sketch of TAO from Universe X by Alex Ross....I don't know anything about this guy except he looks cool and he carries the Absorbing Man's hands around with him.
(edit) I just realized Tao's holding two left hands!!!!!

love the AoA stuff, always been one of my fave x-men stories..... and that Batman from DKR is great, kind of like spiffco meets miller.

I guess my robin 3000 is way too obscure.... :?

Here is my version of the cover of Amalgam one and my favorite of the Amalgam characters. Dr Strange Fate. I drew myself into some anatomical wierdness and had to alter the pose just slightly to fit on my page hehe but overall I was pretty pleased with it.

nice 1602 cap.. very attention to detail..rock on dude.

Guys there is so much i want to say but its late... so I'll post and be gone. I will post all my comments on my next post for you guys.

anyways

I got this really funny idea as to what it would be like if my character Gix, see below
and Pip from Sequential Art
(for those of who don't read this strip you should not be allowed to procreate!!!! It's that freakin good and so hilarious!! drawn by our very own Jolly Jack)

...got combined yknow an amalgam...so I drew it out. Well, I decided to increase it even further; showing both artist's with their work...seing the end result.

Image
This would be Art from Sequential Art and Jay (basically me from my cartoons)

its technically not a superhero...but it is an amalgam...HA HA loophole..yes? no?
i dunno its late and Im going to bed later!

Heya! Back again, and always glad to be in such talented company. Great work from everyone so far! For my pic, I looked to DC's Tangent Comics event from a few years back. It's the Atom, iconic hero of heroes in that universe. Great fun if you can find them, those books.

Great take on the Tangent version of Atom.
I think I have all the Tangent books...it was a very interesting concept to me.
I want to take on one of Just Imagine if Stan Lee created titles for this thread, and hopefully I can put something up here. There are some great images in here!
Surprised that em... hasn't posted anything new in here.
