Thanks to Joel (lately I am using Strathmore Sketch 400 series, lightly textured; the
pencil is an unknown pencil I found at the office ;)), Euan, Andy (father?
congratulations, my friend! :)), Steve, and Keith for the very nice comments
on my Nightcrawler piece :)

em...: I must have missed this from your asian girls thread (I should hang on that
forum more often  ): great Psylocke! :)
Steve G: Awesome character design, Steve! (right click and save ;))
bigjimjustice: great and moody Magneto! I like it a lot :) It has almost a Dart Vader
feel in it (I feel it ;))
Borogove: extremely cool approach to Wolverine and Nightcrawler, indeed :)
specialk and Pod-Boy: I see no images, sorry... don't trust the debug error
message: usually the message go through, even if mostly without the attachment. Just
edit the post and riattach the image until it works.

I did this today at work, between a task and another, mostly a ballpoint pen sketch on a
notebook sheet. I had a bit of fun with it in Corel Photopaint.

Later
Francesco

Man, this jam is already off and running, soon to run out of control with Xmen doing christmasy things... well, hopefully. Em, you started it all off with a fantastic rendition of Logan, great attitude about him. Toonimator, lovin that Gambit, great style that could be easily accessable for animating, wouldnt mind seeing the rest of the X-crew rendered that way. timmgillette, great skecthes man. SteveG, fantastic piece bsed of the animated style. Fury, good piece, I guess it's a common theme for Wolverine to always look in a bad mood, good to see gbillustration had him a little more upbeat in his pic, kudos on that. Hack, absolutely love it. Borogove, those renditions are totally sick, great extremes with those. Ronin, nice Nightcrawler, has a haunting look about it, he looks very demonic, heh. Cool Logan as well. Damn, I need to hop on this.

Here's Storm! Coz.. I don't think anybody did her yet? Might fix a couple things if I ever get around to touching this again.

*edit : fixed her wrist area.. I hope I did anyway. X) that spot of the sketchbook is about to be torn thru. har.

MAN! It's so hard to follow so many talented people!

I posted this before but I colored it for this thread. I tried not to get too complicated because, well, I don't know how. So I dropped the colors: Multiplied the layers: then busted out with the smudged tool. Hope you like it!

Oops, I missed a couple of people in my previous comments, so:

Petersen - Great portraits. The Beast is my favourite one here. Look forward to what else you have in store; Van Douchebag - The angularity of your style fits with Logan's spiky personailty. The arm is a tad long, though.

and thanks to those who commented on my Psylocke.

Now the new stuff:

Steve G - Great take on Apocalypse. Keeps the essence of the comic book version, while updating him; bigjimjustice - Cool Magneto. Love those "magnetic" waves emanating from him; Borogove - Amazing shapes and spot on characterisation; TheRonin - Excellent "rough" Logan, Francesco; RodGuen
RodGuen wrote:I wanted to share these sketches ,straight out of the oven from Priscilla's tonight.....

Well, that explains why they're so damn HOT! Stupendous work, my friend; [b]tadem
- very nice Storm. Her right hand may be a little wonky, but she's still beautiful; Carnage - Great to see that Wolverine coloured - the simple colouring style is perfectly suited to your clean, smooth inks.
