booga: I adjusted the background on Juggsie here.....I went lighter instead of darker, though....

em: I dig the Storm studies (mohawk Storm, yeah!). I think maybe she should be a bit more lanky or statuesque. I've actually been wanting to draw her recently and model her a bit on Naomie Harris (who I think would be a much better movie Storm than hallie).

Love the "Tank Girl" Wolvie......I ignore Origin because reading it made me sleepy. So sleepy.

bowler: great cyke.

Francesco: Niiiice Rogue. She's got soul-sucking nipplage, dontcha'know.

SedyasOnLine: Love that color palette.

Dont have any drawings to post (they're too crappy, even by my standards), but I am in awe of everything here. Holy crap, you guys are good.

I do have a question: James Howlett? They gave him a name? I thought it was Logan? What's the 411? Boy do these things drive me crazy.

According to Origin, James Howlett was a sickly kid living with well-off parents circa 1900 (give or take 20 years). He's actually the illegitimate son of Mrs. Howlett and the Howlett family's groundskeeper Logan, the spittin' image of grown-up Wolvie. Logan busts in & kills Mr. Howlett for some reason, wimpy James gets angry and punches Logan in the gut... and bone claws pop from his hands, killing Logan. His mom freaks & basically disowns him, so he goes on the run and heads to Canada, and takes the name Logan, with bone claws & healing factor in full swing, sickly no longer.

thanks for commenting on my last post for the year!
thanks:polarity, gbillustration, francesco, blue pillow,em.......
EricWolfeHanson: much better i think...great to see it blown up too.
TheRonin: VERY SENSUAL, almost inviting rogue...love the outfit!
and i guess that wasn't really a commission...but i'd gladly send you the originals ...glad you liked it! i guess i won't have time for a second one ....
have a good new year's eve, my friend!
em...: hints of backstories are always fun in a drawing....i think.thanks for your comments, euan!
huge fan of hewlett, i must admit you nailed down the style perfectly for this logan version...nice one! happy new year to all the scotsmen and you !

Bowler: really nice drawing! nice hand and great haircut!
SedyasOnLine: all ready to be animated!! great lines and palette. the bang on the full version bothers me a tad, considering the movement, a reveal of the forehead would have been more dynamic....that's just me.
dam: really cartoony! great drawing...that blow feels painfull!

all the best to ya all for this coming new year!
olivier.

Thanks to EricWolfeHanson and booga for the comments on my Hewlett Howlett.

EricWolfeHanson - The adjusted background is an improvement. Naomi Harris would make a great Storm. Hope you find the time to do that pic of her - this jam can continue as long as people contribute (and I don't think next month's Euro Jam will be as popular, so it may be a good idea if folks kept adding to this one); dam - A bit blurry, but it's clear what's happening in this pic. Great action.

OK, my last for this month. A Jubilee (acting as her own bug zapper):

and a very quick Wolverine scribble:

Magik.
Still playing with her design. I wanna make her a sweet Disney type princess with a hellish touch.

Nice colouring on that Juggernaut helmet. I have one to post myself, but I have to wait until I can use my scanner.

Edit:

Of course, compared to most everyone else here I'm an amateurish hack. Here's my silly toonish Juggernaut:

DaHairyTrip - That is a great Wolverine. I like the black eye sockets; Captain Genius - That Magik is looking good so far. I hope you get time to finish her off; Tenzh the Ti Hsien - :D That makes me smile. I love the exageration of Juggernaut and Logan's respective sizes.

cool looking DEATH --I like the way you colored his wings Explosive D
Walter got all radical on him, and the results were ultra cool to say the least.

EXPLOSIVE D and Fresco - My most avid X-reading time was when Walt Simonson was on X-Factor, Bret Blevins on New Mutants and Marc Silvestri on X-Men - so you two guys have given me a great feeling of Nostalgia with your superb renderings of Angel and Mirage, respectively. :D

Late, but what the heck. Just couldn't find time to scan around the holidays!
There's a couple more on the way, but to continue my "old school" X-Men...
