Here's my next contribution to the thread. This is a mech soldier. Basically a cyborg with a layer of skin on the outside, kinda terminator style. I think he looks a little plain, maybe i'll fix him up and and more stuff...but i'll most likely lose interest and draw something completely different. Maybe a full fledged fity foot mech?
Anyways, hope ya like this for now.

So many cool designs....

dr.hongFantastic illustration. The contrast between the elderly woman and the hulking robot is most appealing. Needless to say the design of the bot is great, I especially like the bug'ish head. The linework is spot on.

i like artInteresting policebot design. The designs really look like they're taking off, it'll be interesting to see how your project finishes up. (Thanks for the comments too :) )

sfpendy I've said it before, but you're take on Tick Tock is excellent. The colours serve the piece really well. As for the other robots, well they're just too cute for this time in the morning. I haven't been up long enough the effectively handle that level of cute

qed Good job on the cyborb fight! Personally I can find it quite perplexing to choreograph that level of interaction between multiple characters, but you've pulled it off really nicely.

booga, Euan Thank you for the kind words. To see my robots and the likes on front covers would be a dream come true. I'll have to keep at it...maybe one day. You're right booga I do seem to be living pretty much in this thread at the moment, I will diversify, promise! :)

Right here's a quickie. I loved this film when I was a kid. So much so that I unscrewed the handles off of my wardbrobe (because they looked abit like the robot shape) and turned them into the little flying bots.....I WAS ONLY 6!! AAAnnnnnyway, hopefully somewhere down the line I'll be able to build on this. I was going to draw the TX or something, but this is waaay better :D
