I started this in another forum, but then this Jam started, so I colored it... but I can't decide on a background. So... boring white for now.

i'm late again!
can't keep up already!
Nick: looks like you've been living just this thread! your robots are awesome....and really colorful...out of covers of sci-fi novels. love the eyes treatment.
me am bizarro: starwars is a must! but what's with the right leg of c3po? some repair done by the jawas? cool pic!
i like art: this red robot is unreal! like the toy aspect to it.
Cornflakekid:this could be entitled : " the limitation of power" . great pose.
spideyman: really nice feel to it. almost 3D. tis one could be called "autogratification"
beautiful rendering.
borism:excellent painting! i'm all curious about what caught his eye in the newspaper.
VoteQuimby: hahaha! i don't know why he makes me laugh....his atttude is awesome! good choice of colors...all ready to be printed on a t-shirt, or be the next mascot of a motor-oil product. brilliant!
JR, Monsterboy:: spider man embracing the future of mankind? why not! awesome idea anyway and a drawing to match.
polarity: why, daniel, am i not surprised!? makes me think of one of those demonstration for the last sony robot, when they all move in sync! freaking cool realization. ( can't wait for saturday!)
ajaxyomama: lovely cyborg you got there . nice to see the rough and the coloured version. love the color choices.
michaelpatrick: nice comp and attitude, but i agree with francesco, some jet smoke or boosters would be nice ( i assume he's flying).
AriasRequiem love the feel of movement to it.some more details , maybe? good pose...keep going!
TheRonin: so i guess there's no stopping you, francesco. can't believe the staminas still kicking after this wonderful last thread . and straight from the palette nonetheless! ( which always impress the shit outta me). love the threatening ambience and the obvious sketchiness to it. can't wait to see what will come out "when you have time" killer stuff!
LauraW: hehehe! ninja-bot against jesus! i 've been waiting for a long time for this one.
dr.hong: wow! really like this one! love the grandma and her caring expression. the robot has a great feel to it....and try to make smaller stroll so the old lady can keep up!
qed: very nice and original design for a robot! great sketch!

wow! what !? ...my computer didn't crash?
i'm working on some ideas, hopefully i'll post 'em soon.

olivier.

ajaxyomama - Excellent character concept. He's like something from the classic era of british comic 2000ad. Good to see the progress from rough sketch to finish too; michaelpatrick - Great composition. There's a nice tranquil feel to it; VoteQuimby - Not the kind of colours I expected to see on your Trap Jaw, but it makes for a very strong graphic piece; AriasRequiem - Very nice sense of movement, especially in the "hair". Very powerful sketch; TheRonin - Something different from your usual style, Francesco, but still with the same top quality and atmosphere; LauraW - I'd title this photo "Faith versus Science - the eternal struggle" :D ; Nick - Another winning robot design. I agree with olivier that these would make great paperback covers; Sobreiro - Yay! Bender. I love Futurama; DanBois - Canny the Canman looks cool. Do you have any more of him or others? AgentDenim - That 'bot's gonna bust some chops. The Purple/Yellow colour scheme adds to his pugilistic nature, being the coour of bruises; dr.hong - That's a very touching picture. Even though the robot towers over the old woman, and is obviously powerful, there is a nice tenderness in the attitudes; qed - Very original design - I particularly like the brain

Sobriero I love your Bender. Looks kind of Peter Laird-ish!

I made a change to the robot (moved his hand and made it more closed). I might add something to make it more rocket-like, but I think that will detract somehow.

Thanks for the kind comments about my cyborb. I like everyone's contributions thus far.

Wait a second ... we have a whole thread with cyborbs, mechs and robots of various kinds. It seems unconscionable that none of them are battling each other! We better fix that 8) :
