MoCCA Art Festival: June 23-24, NYC! This weekend!

As a New Yorker, I have a deep fondness for the annual MoCCA Art Festival. This year, it's taking place on Saturday-Sunday, June 23-24. As always, the event is held in the Puck Building at the corner of Houston and Lafayette.

This is, by most accounts, one of the best alternative/indie comics shows of them all. Its only rival is Bethesda, Maryland's SPX in October.


Everybody in the New York region (and beyond) owes it to themselves to walk the floor at MoCCA at least once. You always discover something you didn't know about the previous year!

I am here in NY for the first time. I read about the MoCCA in some magazine, and went to check it out Sunday. That place is so neat! I wish it was a little bigger, but the stuff they had up was GOLD! I love the Stan Lee exhibit. Great stuff!
