Automatic log on still not working

Postby martinrebas » Fri May 11, 2007 5:19 pm

I've almost stopped coming here because it's such a hassle to log in every time. "Log me on automatically each visit" doesn't work for more than a day or two, if I'm lucky. I use Firefox 2. I've checked my browser settings and firewall, and I've tried deleting the cookie. Nothing seems to help. What can I do? On the old board, everything worked fine. :-/

(I have the same problem on CGTalk and gfxartist.com, but it works perfectly on most sites)

I had the same problem some time ago and it was because the link in my favourites was still the old Sketchbook Sessions address - it was getting rerouted to the new one, but didn't keep the log in info.

Check that your link is www.drawingboard.org

I still have the same problem. I just tried logging in with and without checking the "Log me on automatically each visit" box. The cookies seem to be the same in both cases, with the same expiration dates:

Can someone please check what it looks like with their browser? What cookies and expiration dates do you get if you choose automatic login?

(With Firefox, you can check the content of your cookies by choosing Options -> Privacy -> Show Cookies -> drawingboard.org)

With me that happens every now and then... a sort of workaround is to use browsers that will fill the log in automatically when you log off. :|
