Howdy Howdy! Couple of Questions.

Hi.
I am thinking of jumping off a ledge and starting my own studio. I've been a commercial artist now for about 15 years. I've worked for video games, and mostly Technical Training. Creating animation and 3d and illustration for computer based training.

What I really want to do is tell stories. Funny stories. In the form of animated sitcoms for adults and younger adults.

I'm embarking on the test bed for my dreams here and I'd like to post drawings of the characters and scenes and get feed back and also discuss some more subtle aspects of creating and drawing characters in a specific cartoon style.

So I am asking first. Is this a bad idea in general? Should I not discuss my ideas or show my content on a forum like this for fear that once the genie is out of the bottle, I'll lose it.

And secondly, in what section of the forum would this type of discussion be most appropriate. While I enjoy discussing the principles and techniques of art, I'm less in need of that and more in need of constructive criticism and for discussion of "elements" of design inside my work on a higher level than, "your proportion is slightly off".

Thanks for reading and taking the time to respond if you do.
