this has been a long time coming. It may destroy the planet but what the fuck... let's see what happens. I think they set off making one in america a while back. At a cost of a few billion it is now an abandoned project and the most expensive hole in the floor you'll ever see

Science is AWESOME.

And honestly, if this destroys the planet, oh well. We wouldn't notice. That's a lot less scary to me than like, drowning or getting Alzheimer's or something.

Has anyone else thought that those photos make for some AWESOME reference for like, a spaceship engine or something?

And besides, I guess I've always wanted to have a headcrab if it rips open some dimension...providing we don't get killed.
