I LOVED that show!!!
That's the opening credit as I got to see it growing up. Tough it didn't occur to me then, the singer's voice sounds like something out of a softcore porno movie.
Sherlock was kind of cute for a cartoon dog. I hated the poodle maid. She was so useless.

Same song, different images. They're from my favorite episode, where this guy was kidnaped and sent a ransom note in his own writing dictated by the criminals, but he made small little holes in some letters revealing his location. Brilliant!

I loved that show too Neneuche (from Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli). Didn't care much for the song though, didn't fit the opening credit at all. I'd be curious to hear it in its original version.

Denis, Miyazaki only directed six episodes and the studio was TMS. Sherlock Hound is available on R1 DVD and I think they have the Japanese version on it. Those clips look fun. I've often wondered how good it is.

Oops! My bad. The only few episodes I saw were clearly directed by Miyazaki, that's why I did the Ghibli association.

That's wierd, it does seem to be gone on regular youtube.

Through it's lifespan of 3 or 4 years so far it's had probably 5 episodes where the quality just blew the rest of the series away.

ha. I bet at least 2 of the those have Rock Lee in them.
