This main post will update the vitals. We can use the thread to plan for get togethers and help each other out, and monitor our progress though this crazy name.

Wow, good gravy Scruffy. Looks like you're the one's who's going to be helping out us lowies when you reach 70. Congratulations on your speed leveling. I think you've played this game before.

Toonimator, Congratualtions on reaching 23.

I guess I'll have to spend more time with my priest since I'm a lagging behind, in the leveling race.

Deadmines! Anyone eho's at level can meet me this weekend, November 3rd, for some Deadmines Action. I'll probably be be spending the entire week getting my character to the entrance! If you want in, come on Saturday around 2pm!!

So how about a pre-Sketchbook Session WC run this Saturday?

I only jumped onto Tuhn a couple times this weekend to see if anyone was on... they weren't! Doesn't look like Drawing Aggro's making a lot of progress for the moment. I spent the weekend playing my main up to level 33. I think one night this week I may try WC with my main to get a feel for the place (and grab a bunch of Deviate scales & recipes).

Sounds good man, I'm down for a WC run this weekend. Anyone else? I'm can make tha commitment most definately.

I didn't see you at Rick's reception. If you didn't go, you missed out on some good times. I've been pretty busy lately on my main hunter. He's only a few bars from 70. Only took me a year.

Drawing Aggro had it's first dungeon run today =D WC was cleared all except for the escort quest. The stupid cow went and got himself killed by like 6 million snakes. (( no offense, toon ;)) I still have a ton to learn about warriors... 'fact is, Toon's boar was better at holding aggro than i was XD Hahaa. 'Fun times!

Cool times. I leveled twice playing that day. I can't wait to see what a priest is capable of beyond level 19.

Anyway is anyone else down for the deadmines this coming weekend?

I should be available! I leveled twice that day, too, once in the caverns and once after I turned in some of the quests. My pet leveled 3-4 times! Still gotta get some more hides to finish the one quest.

Trespassing

Postby Scruffy » Mon Oct 15, 2007 3:38 pm

Deadmines? Isn't that pretty squarely in Alliance territory?

Not that I'm particularly put off by that, mind you:

I've wanted to tame this beasty since forever, but she's all the way up in Darkshore (very much Alliance territory), surrounded by Nagas and the appearance rate is about 1 in 20 (you have to find these tiny little cat statues scattered around the ruins and crack them open - did I mention the nagas? Because the place is lousy with 'em). And I only died twice from PvP during the trip. Well, once was PvP, the second time was me being one-shotted by a 3300 point Aimed Shot. But anyway...

I haven't named her yet....

DM's in the southwest tip of Alliance territory, so swimming up from the Horde outpost along the Stranglethorn coast is--from what I remember reading--the easiest way for Horde to get there. About all we'd run into are maybe some Alliance players trying to swim south to get to Booty Bay, and they'd be around our level range (or they'd just try to hoof it south from Duskwood). Once we got to the Moonbrook area we'd just have to avoid any Alliance... and unless they've got high level guides with 'em, or are higher level trying to solo DM, they shouldn't be much trouble. Might be fun! :P

I'd like to put together a run through Razorfen Kraul with some guildies. There's a killer +6 Agility ring quest in there (the quest has two other very nice rings as well) as well as a lovely blue bow that drops off one of the bosses.

ALSO, there's another +6 Agi ring available as a quest reward at level 27, up in Ashenvale (just planning for the future).

Ring 1

Bow

Ring 2

Whatcha think?

What time for the DMs? My lock just hit 14 so he's still a bit young. I have not seen anyone else online yet. :(

I know, right? I think I've seen a couple of people on for a few minutes at a time, here and there, but pretty few and far between. I think maybe some actual scheduling is in order if we want to run stuff.

Serving miners

Postby Scruffy » Thu Oct 18, 2007 10:12 am

In other news:

The single most useful guide I've come across for leveling professions such as mining and leatherworking:

http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.htm ... 1&pageNo=1

Highly recommended.

This is the first toon I've ever really done mining with from the beginning and I have to say I'm a big fan. I just hit 25 today and I already have well over the amount needed for my level 40 mount. I've been spending the extra gold on the AH, snapping up + Agi gear and nice bows and such. It's nice having money!
