Much as I love Faith No More, I really don't see this as being a good idea. Whenever a band reforms after so long, and especially when they were part of such a specific zeitgeist, the result is usually that they're just too old and too watered down to be anywhere close to the level they were at.

I know the problem here. You want it all...but you can't have it.

I can understand where your coming from Agent H, but I have to make your point null and void due to the use of "zeitgeist". I'm kidding, I think it's a case of wait and see. I'd love them to come back with a great tour and, fingers crossed, another album. I think it was the clash of personalities that made them the group they were, if the comeback is the result of a big group hug I don't think the music they make will be close to their greater stuff.
HB One-well played sir.

I saw them in 92 on that tour with Metallica and GnR.

They played for like 15 minutes.
Annoying.

Me too, I saw them in when Metallica and GNR played the Superdome in New Orleans. I had already seen Metallica and GNR separately when they played Baton Rouge at the Centroplex, I went specifically to see FNM. They were supporting their Angel Dust album at the time and I was the only person around me who knew the lyrics to all of their songs.. hell any of their songs. People only seemed to know the chorus to Epic.
