Yes.
I see the old thread sitting down there.
But it's so bloated with videos that it slows my computer own to a crawl when updating.
So here's a new thread.

Let's see how long I can keep this one going.

"Say, Say Say" by Paul McCartnety and Michael Jackson was just a FUN video, (Great song too!)

Good to see a care free video. I have seen too much of the angst and overly self indulgent kinds.

Naked Eyes...Whoah. I remember and liked that song!

Not familiar with The Blow Monkeys. Nice groove. I see you had Springsteen on there. I have respect for that him. James Brown,,,The Master. "Nuff said.

Good post, Captain Genius.

Just a small hit this time.
hahahahahahaha

Fucking crank this one.
It's like Man In Motion part 2.
Or a Christian Contemporary hit from the late 90's.
Or Michael Bay's foray into music production.

I can't stop listening to it.
It's too cheesy to be real.

Didn't Michael Jackson have something to do with Behind The Mask?

Did he write the lyrics and/or produce the music? I can definitely hear his cadence in the Greg Phillinganes version.

All versions are cool.

Yep, Jacko played a part in the songs history. A guy called Chris Mosdell wrote the original lyrics,as he did for most of Yellow Magic Orchestra's stuff. Sakamoto composed it. Greg Phillinganes was a session musician on 'Thriller', Jackson wrote an extra verse or two and the song was recorded but never used. Philliganes got permission to release it as a single of his own,and later, when playing keyboards with Clapton, introduced him to the song and it appeared on Clapton's August album. A few bands have covered it, The Human League did one. I'm a fan of Sakamoto's music,so that's the one for me. I'm sure the Thriller-era Jackson version would have been worth hearing though!
