seems like each year i go more backwards in music.
i've reached the fuckin 40's , and i like it , the past musicians seemed to have a hunger that doesn't exists anymore .
anyway ,can't say i found a lot of new stuff... code 9 , the fall , tom waits , gypsy stuff, i kinda stopped listening to hip-hop n rnb... except gnarles barkly.. they r sweet.

Hiya Jill and happy New Years!

In my opinion John Legend is the most overrated singer in many a year. I, myself, am diggin' the hell out of Gnarles Barley. Pretty cool how a rapper could so easilly make the transition to being a phenomenal singer.

Damn! I'm sooo out of the beats loop. I just left iTunes with a couple GCH cuts and a huge smile on my face. As usual, thanks Hellboy 1.

Hypocrisy - The Arrival

This album has so much energy, it makes you lose weight simply listening to it. I put it into my stereo and gained a six pack stomach. Every song is catchy, I sing along to all of them. "THE NEW WORLD! THEY'RE BURNING EVERYTHING AND EVERYONEEE! THE NEW WORLD! WE CAN'T SURVIIIVVVVEEEEEEEE!!!!"

Slave to the Parasites is THE BEST ROCKER SONG OF THE YEAR.

I haven't thought of a whole list, but the best album of 2006 was Hank III: Straight to Hell. This is how country music should be.

Wow, I never thought ANYthing by Justin would make it on anyone's "Best of" list. I'm not insulting J.T. as much as I'm thinking his album must be pretty decent. I personally wish he'd stop trying to talk as if he was born and raised in East Oakland though.

Heheh. :)

For the most part, the singles are the best songs on his albums (naturally, since they're the most expensive with Timbaland and Pharrell beats). The rest is R&B filler.
