I'm really loving two local (San Diego) bands: Pinback and No Knife.

The last Fugazi Album is kick ass.

I recently acquired some of the Aussie DJ band The Avalanches and dig them.

I'm a big fan of Avalanches. Great stuff.

Right now, playing the hell out of the new White Stripes, called Elephant.

R.

I'm really enjoying the Postal Service album, and am almost in spite of myself loving Hot Hot Heat. It's Sub Pop-o-rama in the casa de pants.

-Dan

As well as a fix of fugazi, I have enjoyed the new Amon Tobin Album.

I was listening quite a bit to Radiohead's "Amnesiac" album, but that seemed to wear a bit thin quickly, so I guess I'll wait for the new one to come out. I've been playing the crap out of the new Led Zeppelin DVD/CD live set, but other than that nothing new, just blasting my old favorites.
-Keith

Postal Service is SO good, I am really fond of it. FIRST ALBUM by Miss Kitten & The Hacker is also really good. I haven't bought too much NEW stuff lately...been listening a lot to the last albums by Small Brown Bike and Tragedy...dug up my Misfits collection the other day, and been rockin some Funker Vogt, Sponge, NIN, etc.

Ah...Sponge. I was hardcore Sponge when they were coming out to play here on the west coast. They just released an EP, I heard. Wanna hear that bad boy.

Other band I'm geeking over is The Sounds. They're like a hard rock Til Tuesday. Weird but fun.

R.

As I get older, finding out about new music is getting harder and harder -- even though it should be easier because of the internet. I guess I'm just a couple of years away from buying The Best of Air Supply from the "Super Saver" bin.

Fugazi... that takes me back. I have their first five albums. I'll have to pick up their more recent ones.

Really liking The Sounds too. They're lead singer Maja Ivarsson, is very photogenic.

Yes...new Blur, good. New music's getting harder to find because we don't listen to the radio anymore (well, I don't). The only decent radio in L.A. is college radio in the morning and I'm not up before 11am anymore so there goes that.

I check out a couple of the new music sites now and again (that's how I discovered The Streets).

Yes....Sounds gal is nice. I think I'll draw her tonight.

R.
