I got both the newly released Led Zeppelin live DVD, and live CD titled "How the West Was Won" today. The DVD is simply amazing; it covers all phases of the bands carrer with really stunning sound and video. This makes their previous concert video "The Song Remains the Same" pretty much obsolete, because, this DVD is superior in every aspect over their previous movie. The DVD contains various footage from 1970, 1973, 1975, and 1979, as well as bonus clips and interviews from 1969 to 1975. This DVD set is really worth owning even if you are just a casual fan of the band; and if youre a die-hard like I am, youve been waiting seemingly forever for something this good to come along.

The live CD set is excellent as well, though, it seems more geared twoards the hardcore fans who have been craving officially released live Zeppelin material for years. Much like the DVD, this CD surpasses any live material contained on the two previous sets, "The Song Remains the Same" soundtrack, and "The BBC Sessions". The set is from 2 concerts in 1972, one at the LA Forum, and the other at the Long Beach Arena.

If you are interested, I would recommend getting either (or both) sets now, for they are new releases and still pretty cheap; the 2-DVD set and the 3-CD set were $19 a piece at Tower, and probably cheaper at a place like Best Buy.
-Keith
