looks a whole lot better than anything i was expecting.

their version of Asgard seems a lot less cheesy than the photos made it out to be.

hopefully they can keep these movies at or above the iron man level.

It's strange that they're playing the entire movie like that, although it was short it was fun for it's brevity.

kidding, it looks bad.

Not only do I consider the movie at Iron-Man level, I consider it above it. And I loved Iron-Man 1. Just a stunning and smart movie. Kenneth Branaugh did good.

I really enjoyed it as well. The frost giant battle at the beginning of the film was surprisingly thrilling. The strong performances from (Hemsworth, Hopkins, Elba, and Hiddleston) definitely helped elevate the material. Also i felt Branagh did a good job of showcasing the special effects without them completely eclipsing the characters themselves.

Oh, and nice to see Renee Russo again. :D

I dunno...I'm kinda iffy about it. Overall it's good, but it aint great. Everything having to do with Asgard was top notch, and thank God it covered so much of the movie, cause everything having to do with Earth sucked major donkey dick. Who on God's green (and in this movie boring) Earth thinks that Natalie Portman can come off as a nerdy shut in?

Yeah, she totally pulls off socially awkward geek.

I also found Thor's redemption to be...bullshit. I mean, I was watching the movie not ten minutes ago and I can't tell you what caused him to suddenly realize, "Oh wow...I've been a complete fucking douchebag this whole time! I should stop doing that!" Actually I can, I just think it's really weak...and of course it'd be a spoiler.

Like I said, it's still good cause all that earth crap doesn't take up too much of the movie's time and a lot of it is mostly focused on Asgard and Loki, and that shit be done right yo!

Also what's the significance of the end-credits scene? I heard it's supposed to be a game changer or something big, but I didn't know what it actually was when I saw 'it'. I'm assuming if I'd read the comics, it'd be a no-brainer, but I lived in the boonies as a kid and the internet didn't exists yet. So if anyone knows, PM me...if this board still has that function. :(
