Punisher trailer...

http://movies.ign.com/dor/objects/38236 ... 61008.html

there's some weird batman forever lighting going on... and a BRAD STREET hotel. Like he's the only person to have contributed to the Punisher... there was something about him in the first one too. What about the countless other creators that didnt just lightbox their own photos but gave frank a real purpose and built him a great mythology? Anyways, looks OK I guess, people spinning in place and shooting in a circle is pretty damn overdone.

Although...Fun Quote:

"god be with you frank"

"Sometimes I'd like to get my hands on god."

lol. riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Is that Pullo from Rome playing Frank? Cool.

I like Ray Stevenson as Frank but I'm not a huge fan of the high collar.
There's not really much to go on in this teaser so I'll wait until a preview with more meat comes out.

.

Like perhaps even John Romita Jr. and Chuck Dixon who launched the actual comic titled "Punisher: WAR ZONE?"

Anyway, i like that this Frank is bulkier...he looks reminiscent of Romita's slightly, and evern more so Mike Zeck's version, from his later covers

The visual style of the film reminds me a lot of "The Crow"

Well, the guy actually looks like Frank, so that's a start.

This is gonna be a hilarious disaster.

And yeah Rick, that's Pullo.

And McNulty is playing Jigsaw.

All they need is Gandolfini playing Microchip for the HBO trifecta.

I'm betting Tim Bradstreet contributed to the actual production, hence the name-check.

I didnt doubt that at all rick, he was also referenced and helped the last movie. He's the go-to guy for punisher. Who has been lucky enough to contribute to punisher in a way that makes him singularly notorious with it. The popular "this looks real so it must be good" syndrome seems to always mesmerize non-artists, and people in other fields than comics/art.

I think bradstreet takes great moody photos, its just sad to me that he has to trace over them (whole other LONG DRAWN out argument, but whatever) and got so famous for it that nobody else that has anything to do with getting punisher to this point is recognized.
