I think it's pathetic the way the message of Charlie's Angels was supposedly "girl power." I mean, come on! All they are is some guy's wet dream.
I asked no other thing,
no other was denied.
I offered Being for it,
the mighty merchant smiled.
"Brazil?" He twirled a button, without a glance my way,
"But madam, is there nothing else that we can show today?"
--Emily Dickinson

Pay no attention, Toon. Nickelby has made it clear that she's been hurt. A lot.

R.

Angels halo?

Anyone else that saw this movie notice how bad the green screen compositing was on the big screen? I was a little surprised at how crude the effects were versus the insane director's ambition in the action scenes. Even some of the mostly placid scenes, like the Angels walking around Griffith Park, had weird compositing; like they tried, crudely, to repaint the sky in postproduction but only had ten bucks to do it.

And it was a bad idea to have Demi running in slo mo on that beach so you could see the stretch marks or plastic surgery scar tissue on her stomach crinkle up as she ran...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I saw Full Throttle twice. And both were of my own accord, but it is no where near the best action movie of the summer. I saw X2, that was way better than CA2. Saving grace of CA2? Thin Man and the villain guy, the irish dude. But don't get me wrong I know full well the camp this movie is to make, and the incredible action that is pooped out by this franchise. Here is a list of things I felt were incredibly wrong with CA2;

- No Bill Murray
- Bernie Mac's forced jokes
- Drew Barrymore's acting
- Cameron Diaz's shiny forehead
- The horrible wirefighting by Demi Moore
- Even Steven's? C'mon.
- They killed the Thin Man[/list]
