Not much info, but here's a shot of what appears to be the main character for Pixar's next move (after Ratatouille) apparently called WALL? E. Looks a bit like Johnny (Number) Five from Short Circuit, don'tcha think?

Got a bit of info on this movie at the last update I attended. The story is VERY unique and not like anything you'd expect for a kid's movie. But based on story alone this should be a very cool movie (I know, of course the story's cool. It's Pixar, right?). Oh, and don't worry, it will be nothing like Robots.

With Andrew Stanton in charge of this, it will know doubt be highly entertaining and full of charm.

Looking forward to this one too!

Earlier today I read somewhere that the movie will have almost no dialogue (wish I could remember where I read that). I guess sort of like Triplettes of Belleville. Wouldn't that be a bold move! But if anyone can pull it off, it's Pixar (assuming that it's true).

I think you're thinking of JIm Hill Media, Cedric. I read the same thing.

As far as I'm concerned, Stanton is solid gold... He is the most talented writer Pixar has, and Finding Nemo was their best overall film. I couldn't be looking more forward to this.

Weird trailer, I guess they want to show they're doing something different with this film.

I'm not sure what to expect, so i can't really get excited for this one.
But I'll wait and see.

I actually like the trailer. I thought the motion graphics were done well and bring the audiences up to speed with a bit of Pixar's history.

Still not completely sold on the robot design, however, Andrew Stanton's a fantastic director, so I'm looking forward to WALL?E.

I swear, every time Pixar comes out with its teaser trailer for the next film, people always put it down and say it looks awful, and every time their films have delivered in the end. Funny how it always happens that way.

Very curious to see what this one will be like.

I thought it was a good trailer but I think it was designed specifically to let people know that this film is from the same stock as the others and not of Cars calibre (which is a film I really don't mind so much).

Very true, but perhaps intentionally.
Brad Bird is a part of the later success at Pixar and maybe they wanted people, especially considering the subject matter of this new film, to know that it came from "the original team" as it were.
Note how they emphasise that Toy Story, Monsters Inc, and Nemo all came out of the SAME meeting? (which is actually the reason they didn't mention the Incredibles then...I guess).

For some reason, from the scant few details I've read on this, I'm getting a "Silent Running" kind of vibe. That can only be a good thing.

I think he'll discover that he was made to play Gyromite.
