Just time for a quick update- all has been kinds crazy at Chez ChukkenMarc. We're cool, though- and I've even done some modeling! Let Hannah be your guide...
Man.... the way that you kinda cast aside the parts of the model kit (that you deem unsuitable) and make stuff that's infinitely better is just awesome...
Mini-Update time! For some reason this was all I got done this weekend, but It's one more step in this long, long journey. Fritzi's still got plenty of pep- take it away, Fraulein!
This post marks a real milestone. Not only is that canopy on at last, but the lead illustration of Hannah was painted at cruising altitude on a cross-country flight! Read on, brave modeler!
I had a virus, and spent some sick days blearily toiling over this project. I made a wrong turn once or twice, but this baby's nearly done. Fritzi and Hannah show you how!
I've entered a group build to benefit cancer research. You can read about here,My link and there's still time to sign up- or simply donate a buck or two.
Well, here I go- better late than never! Since I'm in a time bind, I can't guarantee that the girls show up on a regular basis- I'm busy buildin', man!
This finale is dedicated to veterans everywhere- salute!
I had hoped Hannah could make an appearance, but she will preside over photos to be taken later and in better light. Thanks for all your support in this long- and fun- build!
Sorry. I really hate to comment in the middle of this thread and break up the flow of all this awesomeness. This stuff is all kinds of amazing. The model work is fantastic. The girls are just wow. The new coloring on them is great. I love this thread. Sorry to come in here and bust all this up. Keep posting.
