Animated Thing avatar- Sneer and Frown added p2

Postby krisvahl » Sat Aug 09, 2008 12:48 am

I applied some simple animation to my 3d Thing art for my new avatar (once DB gets them working again).

Just a blink and a simple smoke cycle, done in Photoshop CS3.

Thanks everyone!

Still not 100% happy with the eye blink. I might just add another frame to the closing eyes just to smooth it out.

:o  I hope the Dwg fixes the avy problem... though I'd love he moved a bit his lips as if he were breathing, but that would be asking too much? :P

Thanks all!

She-Thing- I did some experiments with the mouth animation but it looked a little hokey, but I agree it does need a little extra something to bring it to life. I'll keep fiddling with it.

A new version is up at the top with a smoother eye blink. Better?
