zbrush practice

taking some time to learn zbrush 3.1, I've used mudbox before so I'm trying to maybe switch over. working out the kinks on a practice head

Looks good Kravenous. Nice contrasts you have here between the sharp hair detailing and the subtle muscle forms for the face.

I like both z and mudbox, but I think Mudbox pro is just way overpriced for what it can do. It's basically just a detailer type of tool.

Not gonna happen but I wish Autodesk will price the current pro version with it's entry level price before and after they launch v. 2 with the expected feature upgrades like for texturing, posing, etc.

breadwig:Thanks, the switch I think for the long run will be better, so far so good

here's a quick scetch made with no base mesh instead i made it with 2 spheres one for the head and one for the hair.
