kevlev: I like the minimal coloring treatment, but I'm wondering if a splash of red behind her would work better than the red outline.
Citizen UNICRON: Very nice. I really dig the texture you put on the chair.
BurnComics: Ah, the paperless promises of the Cintiq. Looking forward to seeing the finished version of this.
romit99: Great 1st entry! Since you asked for C&C, I think the thing that most stood out was her hair; it's a bit spaghetti like. Perhaps building up the form of it a bit more and hinting at the strands instead of focusing on individual ones would help.
bangalore_monkey: Ah, that's sweet
daniel cox: Another great painting. Love how it just kind of drifts off around the edges
DDevine: Ha, fun!
Ian*: Great use of contrast.
spacejack: Lovely brushwork
MsQue: Fun expressions :D And I really like the looseness of the brush strokes and slight exaggeration in the second piece
supastarr: I really like that, sketchy and polished at the same time
Mmocarski: The energy of the background really meshes well with the dynamic of the figure. Cool how the detail drifts off as you move away from her face.
JessicaDru: Very nice, you really captured the sheen she had in the photo well.

And now my humble contribution. Thought I'd mess around with one of them as a loose ink warm up earlier today.

Great stuff here. I am not sure how I feel about the face on that last post but the lighting on the body is really pretty nice.

Kudos all.

Hi Can I ask whats probably an uber dumb question? Can anyone reccomend an image hosting sight that doesn't censor nudity? I already have some images to post but know they will get shot down. Thanks for your help.

Wow, nice drawings here! I almost didn't want to post this but I want to progress and learn. I don't have experience with this kind of drawings. I only followed the online course "Learn To Draw The Human Figure" more then 1 year ago. Do you have some beginners tips?

What do you mean by this kind of drawing? From photo reference? The female form? Nudes? I'm not familiar with the course you've mentioned, but your drawing isn't bad. It's lacking things that would make it an appealing drawing and a great drawing, but it isn't bad.

My only advice would be to keep practicing and drawing from other drawings, not just photos. See how other artists interpret the human form and copy/analyze the ones you truly like (just as you did with this photo).

Did a new one. I need to take allot of time to get the proportions right and stil there are some mistakes. When adding the details I don't really know what I am doing, just experimenting.

Thanks for the reply emceeONE.

I mean from photo's and trying to be realistic.
