Tooninator - I definitely recommend it. The latest models have absolutely no perceivable lag between the pen and the computer. I also find the 12" a perfect size. The screen is about the same size as an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. The whole thing feels really solid, the build quality is excellent. You can use it as a simple tablet, or stand it up like a monitor. Personally, I like to use it with my laptop on the couch. It's about the same size as my 15" laptop, too, so it fits nicely in my laptop bag. The $999 price isn't much more than the price of a monitor and a wacom anyway, so I think it's well worth it. I know I don't ever want to go back!

GoodAsNew: That happens to me just about every time I try to post something. You might try this: if you get an error after you try to submit the first time, just go back to the message and edit to re-post. Seems to work for me and then you can avoid the multiple identical posts
