yeah, 'bloke! Lovely! It may not be strictly based on the refernece, but it's so cute, it feels more like Anna than any of our images, or even the reference photos themselves!

True to what I posted earlier, it takes a lot of tries to do sometimes. This is my umpteeth try drawing Anna from these shots. I keep at it but haven't been too happy with the results. this is the best one yet:

Thanks Oliver :) I'm afraid my techniques are not very useful&pedagogical. I use wacom tablet. I don't use dodge&burn. I tried to do it in color, but it became to messy, so finally I just made it b&w, adjusted color and added contrast.

Thanks for the help buddy! I use waccom too - or try too, it's hard to get accurate results because theres a short delay from when I start drawing to when it starts painting on the screen. Do you know what the problem is?

Still pluggin' away:
Image

iambibs, great capture of that pose and exasperated posture on that first one. She doesn't quite seem to be standing on the ground, though. The second one has a great sense of exuberance.

vucker: that mr. miagi one is pretty slick -- nice lines, great fly, fun.

Belial, great backlight there, esp. on that near leg.

vanderwolf - nice look of determination in the eye there.

Christopher K -- that is pretty hot, despite all your whining about it.

Lacey, those are really fun takes on the poses

walrus and leander, I don't have much to say, other than that I really like them.
