How often do you want a new Drawing Jam?

Just for the record, as this is a poll and all, I agree with Lumberg: I'd like to see a variety of topics too! Maybe posted togetehr in a batch: Here's a sexy woman and here's a dog, or a guy, or whatever, so that the folks who want to only draw woemn have that there for them and the folks who want to brnch out can take the other route for the same jam... Anyhow, just an idea.

I really agree with walrus.
a batch of variety is the best way to go, even if it is just 2 or 3 images.

also, model poses from modle or porn sights are great and all, but that could also be changed up every once and a while with movie stills, or even sport stills (not that I like sports) but just something to get some movement gymnastics, basketball, sumo, pie eating contest.
whatever.

that's just my 2 cents.

I totally agree with you guys. I have a cache of sports and action pics on my HD, and I'm aways looking for more. I like the animal idea, too. Honestly, I've always felt the Jam was a little slanted toward drawing women, but in the past, that's all that got a response. I will definitely start posting guys, animals, action stuff... anything I can find that would be great to draw from. There will still be girls, but as long as people are drawing, I'll post anything.

personally, I'm just so happy to know there's some action going on again in this section. When Jams slowed down to one every 2 months or so I think a lot of us stopped checking back in.

A more varied supply of subjects is always encouraged. I can certainly use the challenge!

Burns, I feel bad that I put this on your shoulders. Maybe that's why you should up the frequency of the jams a little. Alternate the ladies (at least once a month) with other stuff. Be it animals, landscapes, guys etc. I really didn't mean to start some sort of revolution.

I know a lot of people on this board are fans of the chicks with guns/swords and superhero poses. I'm a big fan of the art but not so much of the genre. It would be really nice to see how people tackle subjects outside of their specialty. I think of the drawing jam as a way of challenging yourself and trying out new styles of drawing and learning off other people's take of a specific subject matter. LONG LIVE THE JAM!!!!

Whatever the frequency, I think it is probably a good idea to have a set day or date for the start of each (e.g. The 1st of every month, The 1st and 15th of every month, every Saturday), so people know when to look for a new one.

Oh, and I promise to take part when I can. I always mean to, I just forget.

seriously though... I think maybe having two subjects in at least two poses each per jam will add to the freshness.
I don't know why people are feeling obligated to post every jam. in my case, i feel my drawings are often so poor, and I haven't posted in half a year, but I still ike to try them on my own, if its only to crumple them up and throw them in the wastebasket. At least I get some practice.
That easily disposable input having been said, two weeks would be a good span of time between them. We should feel free to continue posting on recent jams even if there is a new one, right?

I could certainly tune in once a week. Every two weeks would be fine too, as long as there's something FRESH! It gets old after about two weeks.

I know we dont pay your salary or anything, but why ask how often we want one if theres two months that pass without a new one?
