Kanvus tablet question.

Got me one of these:

...not too long ago and I have a couple questions for anyone else who may be familiar with 'em:

1) Y'know how to map the bracket keys (photoshop 7's default pen size up/down buttons) cause I can't find 'em listed.

2) The tablet started having issues noticing the position of the pen when the tip wasn't directly on it, which it didn't have trouble with before. This mean I gotta replace the tip or indications of a defect?
