Help needed please

Postby zombichicken » Thu Sep 18, 2008 3:38 am

Hi !
i remember reading a while ago about a particular technique where you take several pictures of the same spot, but with various settings, and then combine them in Photoshop. It allowed to create very detailed picture, with great quality both in the dark and light areas.
I can't remeber the name, if there's one, and can't find a tutorial or anything, can anybody help please ?

I think what you're talking about is HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography.

This what I found after a quick google.

You also might want to play with a program called Photomatix that blends photos into an HDR composite automatically with some tweaking.
