2/17/2006 - Pill poppin' Supes
Drew Superman tonight. Started coloring him, but then couldn't decide on what kind of direction I wanted to take. The ideas aren't exactly flowing, so I'm posting just the flats for now. i'll update again later with the finished colors once i figure out what those are gonna be like.

2/16/2006 - Guitar Hero DEFEATED!
Well, I finally did it. I've been playing this game for at least a half an hour a day since it first came out, and I finally beat it on all difficulty modes. What a trip! Thats the most time I've ever devoted to a game that wasn't an MMOG. Now I've just gotta score perfect on every single song....

2/15/2006 - Wonderous struggle
I tried to draw Wonder Woman all day today. It was a monstrous struggle, and I threw out about 100 thumbnails, 20 more worked drawings, 5 half finished drawings, and 1 finished and colored one. In the end, at 3:06am, I got this. It's not great. It's probably just good. But you know what? I don't hate it and I never gave up. That's all that really matters.

For Valentine's Day, I drew my wife a card and had it printed out at Kinko's. She told me one day over messenger to draw her a Giant evil robot panda monster. So I did.

2/13/2006 - Axel Steel pt.2
Here's another snapshot of this work in progress. Axel Steel. Inks are almost done, theres a few more things I want to put in the scene as far as doohickeys and detailing goes. Started the brain working on how I'm going to color it, so I'm thinking about that a lot.

2/10/2006 - God gave rock n' roll to you
Well, this is just an in-progress sketch, because I don't have time to finish it tonight. I'm pretty exhausted but I'm putting this up anyway so people can see I'm actually working on something. Hopefully I'll finish it tomorrow.
For those not in the know, Guitar Hero is a game for the PS2 created by Harmonix, a local Boston area developer. A lot of people at the studio I work at know people that work there. I absolutely LOVE this game, it's the single most addictive game I have ever played. I own and have enjoyed all of Harmonix's previous games, but Guitar Hero just simply blew me away. I highly recommend anyone who likes music and/or video games to check this game out.

No entries for a few days, I know. Had to work late the other day, and then thursday I just kind of didn't do anything. Now today I didn't have time to do anything either, but hopefully by the end of the night I'll have SOMETHING to show.

2/7/2006 - Lokie' here...
Todays drawing was for a drawing jam with some acquantences. The subject was 'Loki', Thors mischievious brother, I guess. A marvel character. I wasn't familiar with the character at all, so it was pretty hard for me...especially since he's so goofy looking. I just ran with it. Whatever!

2/6/2006 - Busy bustin' caps
Well, no update this weekend. I took a break to play a new MMO thats coming out called RFOnline. It's pretty cool. It's a Korean game, so artistically it's kind of stiff (all Korean MMO's seem to follow the same cookie cutter style). But it's fun. Kind of mindless, like a Diablo MMO. I liked it.
Wish I still had time to play MMOs like I used to, though. I can only ever seem to do one thing at a time, and it's either play video games, or get work done. I'm as bad at managing time as I am at managing money.

2/3/2006 - Charged
Drew this one up today. A little bit at lunch, and a little bit after work. I feel pretty 'meh' about it, but I've been forcing myself to finish every drawing I start to get out of the habit of tossing something halfway through and losing hours of time investment without learning a damned thing.I just finished staring at this thing for about 30 minutes, and I think I see every place where I went wrong.
My biggest problem is definately in the construction sketch. Time to hit up my 'how to draw cars like a pro' book again.

1/31/2006 - Green Goblin scooterin' around
Tonight I whipped up a Green Goblin drawing. I wanted to color it but Captain Sleepy has been knocking on my skull for the past few hours. I almost passed out doing that last pumpkin...anyway, I'm pretty happy with it so, here it is:
