1/15/2007 - Axis City Approach
Finally finished my entry for the latest CGTalk Challenge. That was a long 3 and a half months! (And they even extended the deadline another 2 weeks - probably because there were so few finished entries.) But I got mine done. Here's how it came out (click for larger views.)
The image is based on the novel 'Eon' by Greg Bear. So I didn't come up with the characters or setting, just interpreted them from the story. The final piece is 5000x2550 pixels, and was done in pencil, Photoshop, and 3DS Max. If you'd like to see the entire thread of the peice from start to finish (all 400 posts!) it's here.
