Walrus Droppings

Given that I spent so much time a month or two showing the eveolution of the Boy-Riding-a-Monster piece, I might as well continue on in that vein and show how it's coming now. I've traced the final line artwork onto 300lb Fabriano Hot Press watercolor paper, and am slowly filling it all in. This is how it looks after about 8 or 9 hours of work:

I have a little more work to do on the ground, and will need to darken up the waterfall a bit, and then it's on to the characters. I am using the color sketch (see the earleir post) as my color-guide as I paint. Should have the whole thing done withing the next month or so: Working 3 hours a week, it takes a bit of time!
