Panel work!

"Where's all the behind-the-scenes stuff " I hear you cry, "the development art you promised to post, have you forgotten about us?"

No no. Don't worry, dear reader (if there are any!) new stuff will be here soon. It's just that out of the 3 pages I've done so far, 2 are part of a double-splash and I'm hesistant to spoil the money shot so early out of the gate.

Perhaps they'll be panels I can post from the next scene I work on, unfortunately I don't have those script pages to work from yet. So, for the meanwhile I'm posting some older panels I've cobbled together over the last couple years.

These are from a number of different sources - - let's see: Up top is the beginning of a Western tale I wrote with the intention of doing a weekly webisode.  Below that is a War story I wrote for an anthology but it seems I didn't hate Blair enough to get it accepted by the editors. Such is life. The bottom teir is a panel from a story called "Still Champion" about a pro boxer turned night-club bouncer crossed with Murder She Wrote (!) :-)

I had asked my dear old Ma to flick through Essential Spider-man and copy down the script for me to practice a few pages of, so that top tier of this page is from that script - as is the bottom teir of this page. The middle teir is again from "Still Champion"

Maybe we'll see the Champ again one day if enough people ask me about it!

ps. Something my mum pointed out that I never knew was that Stan Lee ended every sentence with an exclamation point! Every single sentence! Maybe he thought it makes every bit of dialogue sound more exciting! We learn something new everyday!
