Too kiddish for the art school

This is a mascot I did for a friend at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. It was to be use at the school open house a while ago, but her colleagues thought they are too kiddish so in the end they were not used. I like 'em, so... here they are

Comix Jam 24hrs @ NLB Mascot

We r having a Comix Jam 24hrs @ National library in Dec (9th-10th Dec)

Participants have to stay in e library to do their research (there is a theme to follow)

& finish 8 pages of comix in 24hrs. That’s roughly wat it is.

Anyway thought I'll share with u folks e sketches I did for e Mascot. Actually its a collaboration by me & my colleague, he did e pen & modify the shape of her head. It was also his concept tat our mascot jams :) I truly enjoy designing it, it was so much fun sketching this little fellow

Nop, I did not get a pay raise...

... nothing !  Just feeling happy & alive

Actually its kinda scary...so right now even though I'm enjoying & cherishing this feeling at e same time I'm preparing myself for e time

when some unhappy stupid thing come along & ruin this wonderful feeling. Can this be call paranoid I wonder
