Here are some hand-made plush toys & bracelet I bought during my N.Thailand trip.
As far as I know, all are designed & made by local designers. I manage to sell some of e key chains & 2 of e bracelets at e flea markets few month ago. Right now I'm busy going to prison(stay tune for e details...) so e rest will have to wait till after then. But if any of you are interested, u can always drop me a mail

Too kiddish for the art school
This is a mascot I did for a friend at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. It was to be use at the school open house a while ago, but her colleagues thought they are too kiddish so in the end they were not used. I like 'em, so... here they are

M.I.A: Globe trotting
So… If any of you folks have been wondering where I had M.I.A to... Globe trotting of coz! I did not stray too far away from home this time though, went to Thailand & Hong Kong.
Hong Kong
Hong Kong & I are old friends. After so many visits, I still get excited by this vibrant city. The “Print & Packaging Convention” was interesting & informative, foods in HongKong are great(I especially luv the noddles soup), hiking at è Daiyusan Island in e rain was fun & shopping… imagine, shopping at 2 am?! Now, this probably only happens in Hong Kong (maybe Thailand too)!
Toys in generally are cheaper in Hong Kong as compare to Singapore… SoOoo… even though this time round I was disappointed to find that not many toys displayed were of interest to me, I’m determined to find something to bring home with me. I was one happy cat when I manage to grab a few cute stuffs before è end of è trip :> (Stop rolling ur eyes guys. Yes I’m an addict :p )
North Thailand
There were quite a few first time for me in this trip, making it an unique one. It was my first time in Thailand (Thailand was not really on my list of “must-go” as… I grew up watching voodoo movies… & EVERYONE knows Thailand has strong voodoo… yup.) First time traveling with someone who is not family, first time traveling with someone else mum and first time up-close & personal with è mischievous monkeys...etc.etc.etc.
Anyway…. click on the below link for è photo journal of my Thailand trip :> Between me & my travel buddy, Karinga, we probably took about 500-600 photos. That’s the problem when you’ve a digital camera… you get out of controlled with it :p (It was definitly a problem when I was organising & editing my travel photos... so many!!)

A little scary/funny incident happened to me here... While I was hanging my clothes on the slope not far from the main house at the Monkey Sanctuary, a stranger approach me. He seemed friendly enough, even helped me hanged my clothes. Then he pointed to his cheek. At first I don’t get what he meant (in this case, wanted), took me a while to understand… he wanted a kiss from me for helping out with the hanging…! Ok, tat makes me a bit uncomfortable as, 1st I dunno him 2nd, even though I’m not alone here but everyone were in the main house which is a distance away…
I decided to pretend not to take notice of his… affection, thinking maybe he’ll get the hint & head off. Ok, here comes the main event; when I bend down to take some clothes from the pail I saw something hanging out from the stranger… yap, his Weiner. Oo-ky… time to moved on. I know if I let myself panic I might just start running towards the house & he might come running after me… might. So I took care to move away from him, pretending to be cool & such while making my way slowly towards the house. He actually followed me & whenever I stopped to hang my clothes he will try to offer his help. I declined him nicely & when I got really near the house he stopped following me, just stood there watching. Took me some will to continue hanging my clothes then (while he watched) instead of running into the house.
I kept this to myself till after dinner. Everyone was shocked as this kind of thing has never happen there. They tried to find that guy but he was long gone. Actually after telling them I started to see the whole incident as a bit amusing(I was not harm so all is good) & it’ll be an interesting little travel story to bring home to :>
